Distress Calls for Space RPGs

Distress Calls for Space RPGs is a book full of thirty unique, hand-crafted 1-page scenarios, each of which is a distress call that can be used for your space RPG.

Each distress call scenario is built with skill-based space RPGs in mind like Traveller, Mothership, Stars Without Number and more. Scenarios are built to focus on many of the less-used skills in these games. In this book you'll find distress call scenarios that ask your players to:

  • Save the crew of a ship from an onboard stampede
  • Help a crew break back onto the bridge of their ship
  • Navigate a high-stakes, tension-filled gambling game where a ship is on the line...mid-flight
  • Save a high-end art collection while the transport ship burns
  • ...and plenty more!

Each scenario includes:

  • a unique encounter
  • character and ship names
  • character motivations
  • skill suggestions on how to handle the distress call
  • mechanics for what happens if a character succeeds or fails
  • scenario resolution

Check out the sample in the images to see if these distress calls would add excitement to your game!
